Toward the Autumn of 1942 an increasing number of Spitfire Vc's were arriving on Malta with Tropical filters removed, aiding the performance against the German and Italian fighters.

In this aircraft Prosser Hanks claimed four destroyed, three damaged and two probable destroyed during 'Operation Blitz' in Sept/Oct 1942.

Flt Lt Bill Rolls also claimed five destroyed enemy aircraft while flying BR498 making this aircraft the joint top scoring Spitfire over Malta.

I have found new info regarding this particular Spitfire that indicates the Ocean Gray was over painted with a darker Blue/Gray, making the Green less vivid. However the aircraft was not painted all over Blue as were other Malta Spits, possibly on Prosser Hank's instructions.

Included is PP-H, one with roundels only and one with tail flash only.

Made with Jesters MkVb template and FBS's internals and weather layers, more added by myself
