Is it possible to add helocipters to IL-2 1946?

If yes what about this German WWII helocpter?

I think you are in the wrong section, this is meant for creating maps and map related stuff, not for scratch built planes/helicopters. Give it a try in the WIP-Beta-Mods Discussion Section.
But this Flettner is nice canon fodder for my Spitfire. :twisted:

From what i've "seen", and i have acess to certain areas, modders already have their hands full for at least 1 year of other planes and mods to make.

My original question was if it was possible to simulate helicopters in IL-2 1946 which was originally designed for planes.
Does the game engine allow this?

And the Flettner is a reconnaissance airplane not armed (except for the pilots handgun maybe..). There were no attack helicopters during WWII as far as I know so shooting it down with a Spitfire would be unfair (but war is unfair).
Most WWII helicopters were used by submarines or ships for reconnaissance.

Maybe there is something that can be done with the FM of fantasy plane models, like the Lerche.

Here is my proposal: I am a "noob" (that's what you say I guess) at modding and designing new flying objects...

But if someone wants to start this Helicopter project and lead then I will gladly participate my way, that is doing some research, maybe graphic edition, looking for audio and sound files, etc...

I would really love to be able to lift off a WWII ship with a reconnaissance heli and come back (alive)...
Or maybe even from a submarine (not submerged of course)

Ohhhh, just get over it, you don't need to tell everyone to stop requesting. Not everyone has the time to mod a game.
