Hi everybody!


Have you ever tried to fly as 2nd, 3rd or 4th plane of the group?
Propably everyone have tried it, for some people it is easy, but not for everyone.
I'm still training, but it is really annoying cause I'm just going too fast or too slow.
So, if someone could do a mod what shows group leaders power settings when I fly in-game, it would be very helpful.
For example like this.

or have squadron and flight formations, eg Squadron Vic, sections echelon right etc.

Yes its frustrating to put about 2-3 times more waypoints etc. When you can only have 4 in one.

If you have trackir its easy i think ! Good practise and joystick is the key.

Me too - more than any other improvement.

Second would be for my flight to not always spot the enemy so I would have to check six more.
Right now seems I only have to watch my Flight to find the enemy.

Formation flying isn't easy in real life either. Ever watched in-plane footage of aerobatic jets? Even the Red Arrows, experts of close formation, wander around like nothing else when you see them up close.

Practice makes perfect.

If you have trackir its easy i think ! Good practise and joystick is the key.

joystick is not always the key.... lol erm trackir u spend most of your time looking one side anyway so it doesn't really make a difference...

its been many times before. The AI has perfect trim, hence why they'll almost always fly faster than you.

True, although for me, i've no issues with the inneptitude of wingmen (i have nothing against the formation flying skills of the ai), i just have always thought it'd be great to have bigger formations!
