It seems my post on the topic of 'AIRBASE OBJECT' has gone?
There must have been a glitch for a simple inoffensive subject to simply disappear like that?
Anyway, I've re-posted a copy of it below for our AAA community to think about.

I used several large Plates on my Thailand map.....not everyone liked them..
The area underneath must be perfectly flat...a difficult job even for the map-maker.
They also tend to 'shimmer' which some say is like the CFS2 graphics.

I understand what you have said Salmo and thankyou for your explanation, you show that your intention was not to cause any upset.
It is a shame that the politics/conflicts of others should be spread like the swine flu!
I wish to remain (no doubt like 90% of us) completely disassociated from any of that.
As a supporter of the AAA cause, I would be extremely dissapointed to think that my good intent thread was deliberately deleted. Of course it may have been accidental or even just a 'glitch' ... ?
It would be nice to know from admin on this if they would care to pm me ... some things are best cleared up.
