I installed it fine, but the only trouble i am having is when i join a game in HL.

I see no briefing at all????............

Anyone help please?? :?

Sorry, I don't know the solution, but I think it is related to the mod FMB creates a _ru.properties file, instead of .properties file for the briefing.

Does this happen with ALL servers, or just a particular one?

Look in your /Missions/Net/cache folder for a .properties file from same date and time you connect to a server. Open it is notepad and see if it is blank or has a briefing.

Possibly the Russian Language fix will work for this, but I'm not sure where it is on the forum.

Have just discovered that it has nothing to do with the mods.

I uninstalled the game and mods etc... the re-installed without mods and i get the same problem.

I purchased the game as an online download so i have messaged the site i got it from for support.

Well just to update you, the helpfull peeps at the ubi forums really helped me with this issue.

The "cache" folder was missing from- \Missions\Net\(cache folder should have been here)

So i was advised just to create a new folder and call it "cache" and it worked no more missing briefings!

So if anyone else has a similar issue, check that your cache folder is there.
