Hi everyone

Quick Question for anyone in the know. Has anyone done (or working on) a cockpit repaint for the various IL-2 Sturmovik models (41 Early, Late, etc.)?

HG & Potenz's Effects Mod has revived my ground pounding desires. Those effects look so horribly awesome that I can't stop setting things on fire.

But, the default Sturmovik cockpit models - as fugly as they are compared to the wonderful repaints by so many here - don't do justice to the immersion.

I've searched the forums but haven't come up with anything.

So true. Planes like Yaks and Corsairs have a lot of cockpit repaints avalaible, but seemingly everyone forgot the ground-pounders. Well, let's hope things change in the future...

Yeah - it's a pity but then again one year ago barely anyone knew where this game would - and can go - with the backing of the community.

Thanks for the link Birdman. I seem to have missed that one. It's great to know that Mangas has commited himself to the Sturmovik. He's a fine craftsman and I'm sure he'll release a masterpiece just like he did with his LAGG and YAK repaints.

He's also working on the P-39 i think , his cockpit of the Yak are brilliant so we can expect the Il-2 cockpit to be of the same standard
