i love playing il2 and i see alot of cool mods here and i can't figure out how to add mods to the il2.
can some one guide me how to do it???
what programs do i need to install and how..?

Your best bet to get up to speed is to install the unified installer, which you can find here;
(The link is inoperative)
It has a lot of new features; and is a excellent basis for adding more stuff to afterwards.

Or you can tweak textures and make your own maps with just gimp and free tools you can download from here.
