Hi, I'm kinda new to modding IL-2, I've been using it only for a couple months now. I usually do dogfights in QMB between 16 BF-109s and 16 Spits.
I was wondering if it was possible to get more Spitfires on the enemy team so that i can have longer battles.
tl;dr, How do increase the amounts of enemy planes in QMB?
You could add more planes to the actual mission file from within the FMB
From in the QMB ,all that can be chosen is 16 enemy's

I think you're talking about QMB plus and i think that'd be too much of a hassle for me to install.

Open the .quick file in notepad and edit the planes= thing there.
It would be nice to increase the number of flights though...or the number in each flight. It's much easier to set up a mission in QMB, and you can vary everything you wish. While working with FMB you fly the same mission over and over again, same weather, same time, etc....
It would be nice to be able to set up bigger bomber formations in QMB.

There is also a quick mission generator available on mission4today.com that might do what you need.
I believe there are 2 or 3 of them available. Like Uber Quick Mission Generator, Mission Mate and others.
