I tried to download the unified installer and umm it says installation failed. I have gotten mods enabled once and I had to uninstall it for a while and now I cant get my mods back. Can someone walk me through this and tell me whats going on?

Sooo, you copied the IL2 folder before doing anything else? Did u at least finish downloading the UI? Did u place all the compressed parts of UI in one folder, then after all parts are downloaded u tryed to install UI?

OMG, ok: BEFORE DOWNLOADING OR INSTALLING THE UNIFIED INSTALLER, DID YOU COPY THE WHOLE IL2 FOLDER SO YOU WOULD HAVE A BACKUP IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG?

Okay what I did is that I went to install the U.I. I waited three hours and when it got to the point where it was done downloading it says Installation Failed....I am kinda confused....

HOW SHOULD I KNOW?
Did u wait for the whole UI packs to download(there should be ~5 packs) before starting the instalation?

I wasnt even able to install. It just said download failed. Turns out I had everything so i tried to install and it say it was corrupted I removed it all and now I am going to simply reinstall and see if it works.

If it said "Download failed", then you probably did not have everything. There are eight separate .rar archive files, and you have to have all eight downloaded and placed in one folder before you can install it. Does that resemble what you did?

il2 is still working and I think I solved the problem I didnt patch it to 4:08

LOL, did u at least read the instalation guide before installing? U wasted hours of my life :x :lol:

Sounds like one or more of your downloaded UI files may be corrupt, have a look in your folder where you downloaded them and see if the file sizes match the screenie below, if they don't download the ones that don't again.
