Latest official is 4.08, although using mods can give you 4.09. You will need to purchase IL2:1946 for that though.

You need IL2 1946 v 4.08, and that will let you install the unified installer, which is currently at version 1.11 (i think)

Just to be clear on the terminology...1.1 is a Unified Installer version, not an IL-2 patch. As was mentioned, there is a 4.08m IL-2 patch, and also a 4.09b1m patch, but I think you may be looking for something else.

Yea I have the Unified Installer, Yes I bought the orginal IL2 and added the Unified Installer for v4.09b1m and added the u1.1 patch

but you say there is a patch just for the original IL2???? And where can I get this and if I added this patch what will it do to the rest of my game since I've added the Unified Installer for v4.09

The reason I am asking is that I rented from a Server Provider an IL2 Dedicator server and for the last two days could not do a direct connect to the server to check it out..keep getting a Timed Out message...if anything I should believe if I have the IP and port number of server I should connect without problems..

When you say "original IL-2" are you talking about IL-2 Sturmovik, which came out in 2001, before Forgotten Battles and Pacific Fighters? Or the most recent version, IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, which came out about two years ago? This is what I mean about terminology.

There were a couple of patches for the original IL-2 Sturmovik, but that game is so old, nobody is using it anymore. The AAA Unified Installer cannot be added to that, but only to the latest release, 1946.

Sorry man yes I have the IL2 1946 got it from Direct_to-Drive, then added the Unified Installer and patch

Well, I can connect to the server thru the web control panel..but what I mean is I can't connect while running the game to it..in order to play the sim online..

I know AAA has a server is that run thru a Game Host Provider, or its a personal server system..

PS: The reason I am going all this way about the server is I wish to use it for our TCL-Team Combat League Site( www.teamcombatleague.ca ) so Matches can be done on a Neutral Server...the one I order is located in Frankfurt Germany since many Virtual pilots are from Europe..
