This is going to sound well dumb, but ive had il-2 since the start and am now running 4.08m , but have never heard of il-2 BETA, i see you mention WIP-BETA MOD and have no idea what it is. could someone please explain what it is......Many Thank..Gary
its more of a WIP "slash" BETA - Mod Discussion forum. Not a "Beta Mod" Discussion Forum. Hope that makes sense. There are numerous WIP/Beta mods on this site, meaning still buggy and not up for "official" release as of yet.
What i meant was I can see how the title of the forum can be misleading "WIP-BETA MOD" :wink:
Some of the good mods are still listed as Beta.
You are more likely to have installation problems with the Beta mods due to clashes and generally I find it best to do all mods installations manually rather than using auto installers so that you know how to reverse them if necessary.
Great guys thanks for the explanation, for a moment there i thought il-2 had a new format id never heard of, it is so hard to keep up with the pace of development of some games, turn your back for a minute and someone has come up with a game update, i just wanted to make sure i hadn,t missed one....again thanks for helping me understand the jargan.
