I mainly fly in the P51. I have found the bubble top canopy great for visibilty of course. But when looking directly overhead, with the absense of any canopy frames, I tend to lose my senses a little.
Consequently I look around a little, disrupting my focus!!!
It just occurred to me that if there was a semi transparent increment/reference engraved on the canopy this would provide a bearing and greatly assist in keeping my heading.
Can this be modded?
