Excellent work so far, man! Any chance you could make it so that, if theres 2 fires on a plane, that they aren't in sync? Was just messing round, and set fire to a C47, in 2 places, at 2 different times, yet the fire animations were in sync, so, the fires were flashing at the same time - any chance they could be de-sync'ed? Other than that, its excellent Wink

that fire managed in two places issue is one of the wonders of this game and I don't know at this point how to separate two fires at the same time on one plane .
All I can telll you is this , many planes and I really don't know how many have fire timing also managed by game which is hardcoded so far and those planes when set on fires in two places , game will shut automatically one fire down and leaving the other going on.
What file is taking care of this ? I don't know at this point.
C47 might be a little bit different when it comes to two places fire managed by game .
I know that P-38 with fire in two places can get one fire shot down while other kept going on , it's completely random how the fire is put down by game .
Also it depend if the plane is unable to fly anymore and it is falling down out of the sky like a chunk of rock because then another game feature trick kick in which is puting down the fire because of dive with increasing speed .
Just try it on some other planes and you'll see how the game handle fires with various planes , some planes like C47 might have two places fire going on for the whole time in sync while the other planes will get one or even both fires shut down by game code instruction.
Right now , there is nothing I can do about separating fires on plane and make them always out of sync .

HI!

I just downloaded these mod and after test i miss little more black ( darker) heavy damage smoke ( when plane is burning) or rather little more dense? What parametr i should change?

the main focus was not on what looks cool but more on reality guncams as much as possible .
This smoke mod won't be changed due to upcoming brand new smokes mod .
New upcoming smokes mod will also try representing real guncam smokes even thou there will be some more darker fighter planes engine damage smoke .

you probably already know the answer , it's the smoke file assigned wind entry to pretend air
windy environment , it's not that wind is moving smoke , it's the smoke that is moving
sometimes a bit sideways visually pretending to represent some air and wind environment
because it was configured to do so Big Grin

environment , it's just not there in first place to work with :lol:
