unified objescts installer is killing me
#1

i resently made the mistake of not testing each mod individually, so i have been crashing at 70%. the things i installed were 1. antena for the BF-110 night fighter. 2. Spanish speechpack - Yugoslav speechpack - Czech speechpack. 3. Unified objects installer. wich of theas is doing it, and how do i fix it?

70% CTD = conflict between static.ini ( or technic.ini or chiefs.ini ) and actual new objects mod files

no easy fix i'm afraid , you need to find out which line in any of those .ini's is in conflict with installed objects ( or lack of installed objects).

Revert to last backup copy and start from there ...

ok, here it how wrapper works ....

first it loads all hashed files in MODS folder (those are normal game files just encrypted... hashed example = 4ECA1E66982049CC) ... then it loads files from MODS folder ( only those which aren't loaded already ) after it loads hashed files from Files folder ( again only files which aren't loaded already) and at the end rest of the files in "Files" folder. All the rest files will get loaded from game's original files ( SFS )

so if you reverted to backed up copy and there is no static.ini present anywhere in "MODS" folder wrapper will load static.ini from "Files" folder ( possible old version from beginning of mod era) ... if there is no static.ini present also then stock static.ini will get loaded from SFS files .

You can see how many options and possibility there is for conflicts between .ini files and actual objects files ....

I would suggest reverting to AAA UI +patch and starting from scratch . Back up your mods folder ... install AAA UI ... add additional desired mods one by one ( official AAA mods with installers = reinstall ; beta mods = manually from backed up mods folder) with checking game between steps .

1 rename your "Mods" folder as " backup_Mods" and "Files" as "backup_Files"

2 install AAA UI 1.1

3 apply AAA UI 1.11 patch

4 install latest AC INSTALLER ( atm version 3.8 )

5 test it

6 add additional mods as explained in my previous post
