A Weird Water Problem
#1

Hello there.

I've recently changed my "water" to 4 in conf.ini and something weird has started happening with my water. Under some angle it starts to flash blue on the bottom of my screen. Sometiems these flashes are on my plane too, they randomly appear sometimes here sometimes there.

Anyone know what is going on and is that related to the "water" setting? :-?

my guess would be a graphics card driver issue but then again i'm no expert in these things either. You can always try downloading the latest driver for your card and see if it fixes the glitch in the water.

no, it is caused by DLLs, which can cause flashing, you may need some newer DLLs

Hey Robert I am having the same problems, and I assume what fixes it at the bottom of the screen per s0cratzy's conf. file is that the water detail has been scaled down to 2. I am wondering if it is possible to keep the water detail but lose this:

It only seems to happen at altitudes in excess of 2000 meters, and when looking down at slight angles. Anybody able to help us out?

I've put it to 2 and did not see any differance in detail between 4 and 2, maybe its just me. :-?
