Hi All, I posted this before in the installer section, but if i've posted here in error please excuse me.
Please forgive my ignorance, but i want to get the installation right as i have a lot of add ons and campaigns loaded ie, (Ostfront, BOE, Wings over the citadel, The Last Days, Fall Blau), plus the 4.09 mod from M4T. I'm worried i 'll have to uninstall everything which i've done a few times already.
I've loaded the installer onto a usb stick from my work pc as i'm not on the net at home, and did a test install to desktop but it came up with an error message. I think i've traced it to part 5. The error message is:
CRC failed on_Game Switchers\409 mods off (original)\files.sfs
unexpected end of archive. Some installation files corrupt please download a fresh copy.
Looking in the files that did download there are 6 folders:
1. -Game Switchers-folder, which seems to have the TIR mods.
2. mg_snd_sse.dll
3. msvcp71.dll
4. msvcr71.dll
5. original_IL2 fb, which is the pacific fighters icon picture of the Corsair
6. wrapper.dll.

Please forgive my waffling, but can anyone help,

Can only suggest you download Part 5 again.
I have a very slow broadband connection and had bad downloads on a number of the parts which I had to download again. Have a look at the file size. It should be the same as the other parts. 256000kb. Only Parts 1 and 8 should be different.
