I just reinstalled vista after having windows 7 and I had a clean install with 4.08 patch applied and I installed the UI 1.1, when I start the game it gets to the main menu and a few seconds later it just shuts down, no error no nothing just cuts to desktop.

If anyone can help id be thankful.


*update*
when i used the switcher and put it on standard it runs fine, but when i put on 4.08 mods it doesnt crash anymore it minimizes, and everytime I try to open it up it minimizes again.

Sounds like something else is trying to take over.
When it minimizes, check the task manager and see what processes are running.
Also, try running it in XP SP2 mode.

thanks, I got it working now amazingly. everything full whack .


one thing though the tree reflections off the water seems to bounce/jitter over the surface
