[Mods Request] Bristol Beaufort
#1

Not sure if anyone is working on or has tried, but until, and even after the beaufighters was produced, this baby was responsible for sinking both German and Japanese shipping. Was built under licence in Australia too AFAIK, and the engine was used to power the Boomerang too.

Copied the links from Chaiocs' thread about 'what we'd like to see'. (Hope you dont Mind Chaoic, if so PM me and I'll grab them elsewhere ~S~0

Nah I don't mind, it is always good to start a new thread that would have a lot of discussion about specific aircraft. This is what will attract more of information about this aircraft that will be posted by this community. And when that happen, I will update this aircraft in the list with more information, so lets talk about this aircraft!

Some nice close ups of her, seems to be the only thing I could find on youtube atm. The only other one was of two (looked like RAAF markings) colliding and about 4 pages of text claiming the poster was a sadistic and sad twat for thinking it was funny Confusedhock:

last pic @ bottom is left panel of cockpit display, still looking for more atm Sad

EDIT: actually that most of the cockpit controls and displays, seems it may have still retained the blenhim cockpit setup, bit need to look into it further.

Studly, what have you got cockpit wise? I'm going to try raiding my local library for info, but have this book sitting @ home http://www.amazon.com/Cockpit-Illustrat ... 34&sr=1-2#.

Click the "Click to look inside button" and it'll show you some shots of the book, not sure if it'll give you close up of the blenhim pit, BUT if the two are the same, then i cna scan this puppy and we have the start of some more info on the girl.... Now just need to wrangle us a modder, but seeing as most are busy might take awhile peeps, so shamless bump away with pics and info in the meantime, and tyvm for the support Big Grin
