I'm losing my mind waiting for the Sabre and the Mig15.. I'm not afraid to admit it..I have a problem.. looking at the WIP photo's just makes it hurt all that much more!

I'm not trying to bash or pressure the guys who are going way out of their way to do all this work for the rest of the community. They have my total gratitude. I only wish I had the abilities they had so I cold contribute myself. Just thinking about what we are going to have available it really exciting..

There is a F-51D Beta available at C6 by UF_Josse, quite a nice plane. Unfortunately A/C Installer 3.8 doesn't support it at the moment, but 3.9 will.

Meteor is underway, and will be available in due time. I have it under good authority that it has been picked up by someone, and has full assistance available to him by the RAF mod team. So it will be seen soon.

Oh and the Firefly - it was my first project. Was started as a Frankenplane, then I couldn't proceed any further with it with the Franken technique, offered it for adoption, and it was picked up by Flakiten - but then it suffered the same fate. This was long before the 3D Importer.

I don't believe P47's served in Korea..at least not with the USAF. Was there a UN participant that used them and I'm unaware of it?

There still other planes in game like MiG-9, Tu-2S, Po-2 (U-2VS), Yak-9, C-47/Li-2, but only few KTO-paintchemes are available for them. :lol:

Just a sidenote. U and P were different planes. Yak-9U was typical Yak mixed construction airframe plus VK-107. Yak-9P was first and only of the -9 family to feature all metal construction (that is all-aluminium wings but fuselage being typical Yak steel framework, just covered with aluminum panels instead of plywood ones) and was not produced until 1947 (772 examples were made until December 1948).
Yak-9U being all-metal plane is only Oleg's fantasy, so effectivley we have post-war Yak-9P in the role of WW2 Yak-9U.
