What map/where?
What version are you running?
What settings are you running?
Is it on every map? If so it could be a graphics card issue. What graphics card and driver are you using?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Do not want to look over pessimist , but it looks like your Graphic Card is slowly dying. I think it is a problem with your graphic card memory. Some "parts" of it may be damaged.

I have a XFX 7800GS and I experience the same "little Gremlins".There is absolutely nothing I know and that I have tried that could cure this.Sorry.
My gremlins are far bigger than yours.I have from time to time whole ground texture flying next to me at 3000 Ft or more.
I have especially large sky blue table cloth coming from up the mountains or from the sea. Very very special effects ....When you hunt them you finally notice that it grows from a little blue polygon on the surface ( ground or sea ).

If you ever find asolution, please tell me , I would be so glad.

Good luck.
Madcop

P.S. I only experience this in PERFECT Mode. When playing in EXCELLENT mode (everything maxed out ) ,everything is O.K.

The same move has been made and it has a result. My card X1950 Pro is about 2 years old. I also noised the temperature but it was long time ago.
Do U realy think it is graphic card? If so can U give me some advise about a new one? Smile

First why don't you download and try GPU-Z. It's a free utility that will tell you your current temps and other settings. A must have utility IMO. GPU-Z Link

I owned an X1950Pro and was very happy with it. It's an excellent card for IL-2 as newer cards and drivers do not really help IL-2 all that much. However if you play other games there are better cards out there.
What is your Graphics port? AGP or PCI? It will make a difference in what kind of card to recommend. I'm betting it's AGP. To get serious improvements in graphic capability you should have a PCI slot but that would mean a new motherboard and probably CPU.

If you want to stay with ATI you might want to consider the Radeon HD 3850 100228L Video Card. It has 512Mb of onboard RAM and has a core clock speed of 668 MHz and a memory clock speed of 828 MHz. They can be had for just under $100 US.

Hello there .
You may take advise by Boris the Spider.

Il2 is born at the times when AGP 8X was the king, but times have changed, and so have the mobos and Il2 with all these hungry mods!.
That's life ,you'll have to adapt.I still run a PIV 3.2 with a XFX7800GS 256Mb on a ASUS P4P800 Motherboard.(Pretty old config), but it still runs FS 2004 and Lock On pretty damned well.
Remember that Il2 is greedy about CPU.Never update a Graphic Card while keeping a weak CPU, that would mean throwing money.

May I advise you to wait untill SOW appears and then , wisely, build a new config. I think there is still a year to wait but remember that what's expensive today will be considered by some as rubbish in 1 year.

If you still want to update your config, first test everything before taking your decision. If it happens that your GPU is dead ,and that you sorely miss him ,try to find another second hand one and wait for SOW to build a new system ( You still get one year to put money aside ! )

Good luck
Madcop.

My machine parameters are:
DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6400, 1600 MHz (6 x 267)
Gigabyte GA-965P-S3
2048 Mb (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
Radeon X1950 Pro (512 Mb) PCIE

I want to say that the games like Crysis, MSFX and the same runs good on my machine.

P.S. I've run GPU-Z and have seen nothing more then it's startup screen (TECHPOWERUP GPU-Z bla-bla-bla)... What does this mean?

The GPU-Z is working but when I run the Il-2 it stalls. And only thing I can do is RESET.
OK then...What shall I do?
