Azdack... Do you have this come up when you click on the UDQM from the Start Menu? If so... follow the instructions and add UD to your IL-2 root files.

Then when you open up your IL-2 files... does it have a UDQM icon as in this next screen shot of my game files?

If so click on the UD icon in your IL-2 files and open the UD program... it should look like this screen shot... but with only a P-40 in the first aircraft Flt line. You can now click on the yellow UQMG button located on the bottom left and bring up the guide to help you get started with using the UD program. If this version of UD is still the 5.0.32... just run a quick mission with this version and after install the 5.0.44 following Uber Demon's instructions and you should be good to go.

By the way my problem is not to capture an image on my screen my problem is how to put it in a post...I've been looking in FAQ on this site and they speak about an address to have on the net to slot an image into a post. Well I have no address where to send my screenshots to load them afterward in a post.
But this is not the main problem.

There used to be a good tutorial by Jeebs24 on how to post pics in the Screenshots, Images & Video section but I can't find it anymore. :???:

You need to register at a place like Photobucket, Imageshack, or tinypic Azdak.
Upload your pictures to their site and use the IMG code to post the pics in the forum here.

I didnt catch that... hmm I would recommend not installing it in the same directory as il-2 just because it makes it messy... as long as you point it to the correct location, it should be OK. sorry you are having so many problems

Well, Paul Lowengrin has a monopoly on that market, and I think DCG is really outstanding... UQMG was really created out of a necessity to have better control than QMB, plus it gives you the same capabilities in Single as it does for Coop, and Dogfights... Plus there are some other tools, like the flexible briefing builder, and the UQMM, or Mission Manager, that lets you play any mission (Single, Campaign or Coop) from the perspective of ANY flyable airplane... with adjusted objectives... try that for something fun. (of course if you installed the AAA Mod upgrade, you can use just about everything to fly in...)

Just click the UQMM button in UQMG, and then pick a mission in one of the folders, even campaign or Coop, and choose the plane you want to fly in... lots of fun without redesigning missions...

But, well, there are two very excellent Campaign Generators in the DCG as well as the one in IL-2, DGEN and NGEN. It would take a lot of work and the older I get, the lazier I get...

I eventually want to redesign UQMG, and perhaps I'll tackle that (campaigns?)... but the biggest problem is designing the Maps templates... If I had the foresight and cunning of Crazy_Schmidt with his Mission Mate, I would have used trigonometry to build templates as opposed to custom designed templates... darn him and his wonderful toys!

I have noticed one issue with the new version when I was using my 1940 rule set. I found that when I tried to sort by year but none of the A3 aircraft show up before 1942. Is there a table somewhere I can update or is it hard coded in the engine?

I was followin the tutorial of the install i am not new for his utility (I love it) but i was away from IL2 so I look for it to reelearn it. well i was doing the mission where the use of the GOE was involve in all those mission when i try to conver the stactics odjescts to the country the misssion was build i got the following error

Also when i use the automatic fecturet of it i have the same error. I mean the one when the mission with the p38 is created when i creadted the mission is the same too.

Also there is a problem with composite flys the sameproblem with some errors message i didn't take notice of them so i think there is a problem wiht the datebase or something. please lete me know if there is something to do In iam runnig IL2 1946 4.09m unmodded.


i have found out that the proble is the data base i have wrong pictures and the problem with the object editors is relatec to the static aircraft file.

if i try to load the specila aircraft all the objects are not gernereted or are (special or carrier) ai planes are replaced for other panes

I can't help you with the ground editor but I might be able to help you with the aircraft issues. There appears to be five files in the UQMG that effect aircraft selection. They are: fd_aircraft.ini, airDB.ini, airStatic.ini, airStatDB.ini and fd_skins.ini. What I have found is that all of the entries are matched. in other words line one of each file all represent the same aircraft. If for any reason you get one of the files out of order you will have the problem you described with the wrong picture representing aircraft you are trying to select. I recommend deleting your install and reinstalling.

Ok i took my time and check it the problem with the ground editor is related to the static air all the rest is working but when you tray to much the contry or the plane to choose the proper statics aircraft you ghet the error for the rest is working fine i think is something to do with the addition in AAA mods. ther is also a proble with the JU88 it is confusing it with the mistel there was a line at the end or statDB related to the Ju 88 that nedd to be deleted to solve it. Also there is a malfuntion with the Bf104f mistel it confuse it with the standart Bf104 so when you enter the mission you end it flying the 109f4 without the mistel.

I have found is nothing to do with the new exe is something to do with the database

Apparently UQMG supports more aircraft than are in the Unified Installer. When I search for the additional aircraft at AllAircraftSimulations I find different versions of the same aircraft, or can't find the place to download the extra aircraft.

Would someone (Uberdemon Perhaps?) please show me where the correct additional aircraft can be downloaded (A6M3-32, BF-109e-3,etc basically everything not included with the Unified Installer 1.2) I would be eternally grateful.

I think you have to go to SAS " http://www.sas1946.com and ask there also there is some installer and so any way i dont have those planes either and i use it without problems execpt the ones i mentioned.
