Help w/ UI 1.1, 6DOF?
#1

Sorry if this question has already been posted before. I tried searching for a solution in previous posts but haven't found anything that worked.

- I took a brand new install of IL-2 1946 from the DVD, patched it to 4.08m, then installed UI 1.1
- I then ran Il2VersionSwitcher.exe and switched to 4.08 mod with 6DOF (had full admin rights on an XP machine)

Tried running a few flights. I have full 3DOF, but no zoom and no XYZ.

Anyone else run into this before?

Best regards,

~NSC

Hello nsquidc,

Did you try Shift+F1? 8)

Or have a look in your Track software. Is everything on?

Just so you know you're not alone - I have the same problem in the UI 1.1.1 - never tried to resolve it though as I only use that install for compatibility testing of maps. -viking

I've had that problem. Every time I used the mod switcher I had to re-install the 6DOF mod. I have saved the download on my hard drive so I don't have to go get it every time. Kind of a pain, but it works for me.

Yep! That's what I would recommend first, before exotic re-installs, complicated trial and error steps, etc. 6DOF only works if you have the Gunsight view 'unlocked' (my term). Use Shift+F1, then try 6DOF again.
