ok this issue has just started. i haven't installed anything before or after this has started. what the problem is is that my sound on some of my planes are very quiet and sounds compressed. can anyone help

i have the same problem in my BOB campaign mission but i don't have engine sound. everything else is there.
i don't now if this problem is coming from the seafury i install.
i never had this problem before.
it also effects only that mission. the rest just sounds fine.
weird isn't it

did you also install the seafury from SAS?
maybe the buttons file from them cause the problem.
I had a similar problem with the SAS buttons and cured it by doing a rollback to my UI buttons... SeaFury was the culprit with the SAS buttons...

i will remove the seafury and all his air/plane ini's
(and wait for a better button file)
and replace the button file with the older version.
i just want me sound back. :wink:

now....
still have the seafury. at SAS they give me a tip about downloading soundpatch.
now that work fine.until...
i downloaded the halifax with his buttons.
now i have no interior sound of multiple engine planes like the B-17 and the Halifax.
''outside'' yes but ''in'' no.
what causes here the problem?
I have the same issue, now my sounds are very low, jets are fine, only props, lost my meaty merling sounds of the spitfire and mustang.
Sound issues happen when you install the SAS button file ,uninstall the SeaFury from SAS site and replace the SAS button file with your original button file.
