I have the same problem, the menu textures are invisible so all you see is the text and the backdrop. My mouse didn't work at first either* but after screwing around with the conf.ini mouse settings I got it to work** - although the menu interface is almost impossible to navigate as all the text clutters up on top of eachother when opening drop-down menus and the little switches and buttons are nowhere to be seen.

Moreover, when I start a game EVERYTHING is completely f**ked! It seems like 99% of the landscape textures are gone, all you see is plain green areas and stuff. All this happened after I installed UI 1.1, the fresh installation worked fine previously to that.

Basically, it seems like it's refusing to load a great deal of textures, both in the menus and in the game enviroment.

* Could be because the pointer was simply invisible.

** The pointer turned visible but in the form of the standard windows cursor, when flying this limits the field of viewing movement as the pointer halts at the edge of the screen.

Additionally, I've been running the game on "Perfect" before, so it's no sort of game demand/gfx card incompatibility error. Just to make that clear, as that would've been a logical cause of this otherwise.

My best advise would be to reinstall everything and start from scratch.

Hope it works out Big Grin ,

Problem solved after reinstalling. I think what caused it was that I managed to choose the wrong installation settings for the AC-pack, since that was supposed to be run that after installing the F8F Panther.

Anyhow, it's working fine now!
