First off I'd like to express my joy and surprise at finding this site! I haven't modded a game since CFS2 and was so happy to find a talented community like yours here at AAA. I just downloaded the Unified 1.1 and after a few glitches got it up and running (thanks to the posts here), and am now trying to follow the directions to add the Beta Halifax. I am stuck on trying to place the new info into the .properties files as Windows doesn't recognise the file and won't let me open them. Is there a download available to let me do this?

Rightclick on the files you want to open, then select "open wit..." , then you can choose from a list --> choose Wordpad

I use NotePad to edit those files. Just be sure to turn off word wrap before you load or edit the files.
