I can't seem to recover from a stall spin in a modded P-47.

The unmodded plane will pop out of the stall spin, quite easily, with opposite rudder, or in more extreme spins applying some ailerons.

With the mods, i'll spin , cut throttle, rudder opposite, nuetral ailerons/elevators....but the spin continues.
I then use ailerons to roll with the spin, but it still continues to spin. I roll opposite, still no effect.


I then use elevators to help get the nose down, but that doesn't work.

So the plane is virtually unrecoverable from a stall spin.


I will plummet in a spin from 5000M until i hit the ground.

Didn't know there was a modded P-47. Did you get this at AAA?

I think there might be a misundertandng as to how the mods are applied? Unless you have a 'new slot' P-47 (for loadout or a new model i.e. P-47N etc.), all P-47s that shipped with the original '46 will be exactly the same in terms of Flight Model (FM). The FM remains untouched after applying the AAA Unified installer et al...

EDIT: I just gave this a shot - P-47D-10 at 5000m - entered a stall/spin. Was unable to recover through use of any control input. Eventually recovered at 1400m by popping gear and full flaps along with opposite aileron and rudder.

I have no problems recovering from stalls/spins in any P47.

My advice, learn the P47. It has it's own little quirks. Each has a different FM and Power band. The D10 doesn't come alive until about 18k ft. The D22 at about 12-15k ft. The D27's start making max power at around 8k ft.

If you get them below 120kts, they get VERY sluggish.

First and foremost, you have to remember the P47 is an Energy Fighter not a turn fighter. She doesn't turn well until she gets above 180kts.

A quick reinstall of the UI1.1 fixed it.

maybe it was a corrupt file.
I fly P-47s 90 percent of the time, so it was something that stuck out right away.
