I get this when i try to land and is i start on the decl latest UI installer and 4.9m any ideas?

try not using arrester hooks and see wat happen. never seen that prob....

Hey there Gypsy,

Do a search for it here at AAA mate. I know there's another post about it somewhere because I had the same problem. And someone posted the fix for it but unfortunately my poor old head can't remember what it was, or where it was, or I would enlighten you myself. I do recall that it is some mod that I added. So check the last mod you installed before the problem started.

I just can't recall if it's a map update, aircraft update, or exactly what it was. How many new or updated mods have you installed lately? I hope this helps you out and if my memory returns anytime soon I'll post again and let you know.

..the guilty party is most probably ZUTI's reduced airfield influence mod - disable that, and you should be able to do carrier landings... :wink:

Have you installed the Vkg_El_Alamein map? If so you may have installed the "Zuti_Airfields Friction_V0.3 EXE "as well. I found that the Zuti Airfield Friction mod caused the same memory issues as you are experiencing. If you disable the mod with a - in front of the Airfield Friction folder you will find that you will be able to land on the carrier without such issues. This worked for me. I like bumpy effects that the friction mod allows so when I fly the El Alamein map I just remove the - from the folder.
