Problems with sounds
#1

I've got quite the problem here, I had finished settings with my computer's configuration ( Vista 64 and XP in the same computer ) but while I still have sounds really well from the Vista side ( and obviously I can't play IL-2 ) I don't have any sounds what so ever from the XP side, but I can play IL-2 there yet no sounds all the time.

Is there a sounds driver I could download in order to make the sound work right on the XP side ??

In fact, my computer was brand new, only bought it a few days ago, so I really need help this time. :?

Sorry but I don't understand, I have xp and vista 64 on my computer too (dualboot). Now, I never tried Il2 on vista, it's still on xp but works fine. Try to check your settings ingame and also via the Il2 setup in your main il2 folder. Try disabling hardware acceleration.

Good luck.

I've already tried it, it might have something to do with the fact this computer was coming straight from a factory and wasn't costum built at all.

Right now I'm still not sure about this, but I might trying to find the drivers for it yet for the XP side.

I only hope it will work ok. :???:

Ok, I'm having the sounds back on the XP side, it was no drivers on the audio card, yet even if I did got sounds back on XP, something's still being an issue turns out that I've still got no sounds on IL-2 1946 despite sounds being back on XP, it's having to do like it's just not there when I try to play it while sounds work for XP now.

Something's I probably missed somehow, I already tried the sounds settings on IL-2 1946 but still nothing.

EDIT: Never mind, got it working now
