I'll have to get in contact with RAF Magpie he's the one who told me a few months ago. I just joined the RAF 662 forums so I'll send him a message.

If I remember correctly it's not entirely public though but we'll see. Expect the release within the next few months though. Main issue was that it was near completion a while back, and then we changed policies on this site to new 3D models instead of Frankenplanes, and guess what it was... lol

P-61 was the first plastic model airplane kit I put together when I was a kid, and I've wanted to fly the thing ever since. Take your time, do it right. 8)

Ok, spoke briefly with Magpie, one of our highly esteemed modders, Magot, took up the project with a group off site. Don't know where though, that's private. So it's just about waiting for it to be released. Sorry I don't have more intel, but seems they're playing this one pretty close to the chest. Can't wait myself.

In the mean time, I've noticed quite a bit of people who demand updates, teams to work faster, etc. without so much as contributing themselves to the community. I'm guilty of asking for updates as well and while I do make skins upon request, I don't have them in wide spread circulation, mainly because I believe most people will think of them as crap. :\ Back to the point, there's no need for some of the things people have written in project threads. Did you dazzle the site with things like new aircraft, load outs, schemes, missions and maps? No? Well shush then. Just because it's the internet doesn't excuse being impolite. More importantly, it's not required for them to share their work with us, that's a privilege we've been graced with, not a right.

Was it A Frankenplane??? Unbelievable!!! You're talking about the one by PlaneEater in the threads below, right? It looks like a model created from scratch....no one could even tell if it was a Frankenplane....
