I'm putting the finishing touches on a Slovakia winter map campaign. The campaign will be about the Czechoslovak Fighter and Sturmovik Regiments. One version of it will be flying the La-5 and the other version will be flying the IL-2. These are on the MODS Slovakia_winter map.

I have 3 winter skins for the sturmovik + winter default skin. Just wondering if there could be something better. Anyone know of any photos of the Czechoslovak Ground Attack Regiment?

Or are there some good IL-2 type 3 winter skins out there somewhere that I don't know about?
(I have the ones from Flying-Legends).

I'm also altering the mission files so that these two campaigns can be on the stock IL2 Slovakia map (summer). Skins may be needed for this too.

This project IMO will be one of my better ones. The Slovakia maps are wonderful to fly on and I've created some great ground battles to recreate the battle for Liptovsky Mikulas.

This started as a MODS project but it turned out so well that I thought I should share it with NON-MODS users who have only the Slovakia stock map. Hope you will enjoy it.

I think I'll just stick with them. Last night I already started adding these skins into the missions.

But I'm not sure who the skinners are. I've had them for a while. They are all blank with no markings and I'm beginning to wonder if they are stock IL2 in-game skins.

I think they are 'stock' skins. Want me to "star" them? If so, white border/black border/no border?

These are for 1945 so they should be with the white and red outline.
If you can add the stars that would be great!
Stars should be on tailfin, fuselage, and underside of wings. No need for numbers or anything else, just basic.

Yes, I have all three. I'll start work today and should have them to you this weekend.

No thanks. I'm not interested in Polish sturmoviks. I'm not even sure if there was a Polish regiment in the VVS... Not until Post-war anyway. Anyone know? I'm sure the Polish IL2 members would like though.

How's this for the Assault?





Some minor tweaking still needed on star placement. Added some rivets too (very light but they are there) because there are none of this skin. I thought it looked better with them. I can remove them if you want, no problem.

Should have the other two done Friday night.

UMM, I was wanting the winter versions that are overcoated with white, not summer camo.

But I could still use these summer skins for the non-modded version of this campaign.

The stars are good. I'm not really concerned about the rivets but it's your skin. Weren't later IL-2s still using wood for rear fuselage? = no rivets there.

The two other skins are already set up with oversprays and since you mentioned this one I thought you wanted it left stock. (If there's a winter overspray version then I guess I don't have it). Anyway, no problem. I can give it an overspray.
Rivets will disappear anyway under the overspray so no problem there.
I'll be back with more screenies later this evening or early tomorrow morning.

Boris is already doing the winter skins for me. These will be for the MODS version of the campaign.

I plan on also making a NON-MODS version so that will have to be on the summer-Slovakia map.
If you have some Czech summer skins then that would be good to have for this version and future summer campaigns.
