New Swordfish Template
#1

Here's a link for a basic template for the Fairey Swordfish. I looked around for a template for this aircraft but couldn't find one so I thought I'd make one myself starting from the void made transparent by white removal.

It's a usable template, not overly intricate. It could use some extra dirt, exhaust, fuel spillage layers and the like, but otherwise is usable.

Since there are already a number of excellent historical British Swordfish skins, I mainly made it to create skins for hacks of 2-seater biplanes. You'll find some markings for both Republican and Nationalist Spanish Aero A101 2-seaters. There's also some 1930's Egyptian markings and to mark the location, UK roundels as well.

I'm not a template maker, but since there are never enough biplane skins, maybe others can make use of this template. Anyone wishing to add more detail please do so. I make no claims to being overly competent with templates, so feel free to correct and post this further should anyone wish to.

Realized I should have perhaps posted an image of the hacks that are included in the template. This is for a Republican and Nationalist Aero A-101:

The Swordfish with floats is available at the SAS site DaHuss, it was created by Beowolff. You can find it in the seaplane section.
