WHAT???? it doesnt work??????
thats very strange, maybe check your controls if you changed something there, at least the rudder trim must work
i think many people can confirm that the rudder trim works fine with level stabiliser.
i sometimes fly Pe-2 and there the plane must be adjusted too, check it by pressing F2 and zoom very close to the plane
Hi,
Before u use level stabiliser u need to setup ure bomber for , 1 the bomb run (ure bomb alt , speed etc etc)
And 2 u need to trim ure plane before u hit level stabiliser , than u are good to go.
Thats the way it works for years now.
Hope`s it help u.

Rudder trim does indeed work while in level stabilizer, it's a very good tool to use when correcting the course while looking through the bombsight.
Elevator trim does work too, but only on an extremely marginal level. I.e. you would have to put in full up trim to get 5% of the normal trim, and offcourse, remember to reset it before you disable level stabilizer or things can get quite nasty...

kstoff Wrote:Thanks, but it is impossible to use trim with level stabiliser applied. And without it I can't make the plane fly straight only by using trim, and even throttling engines differently. Besides in stock planes it works flawlessly without trimming.
So the problem is not solved by trimming
Yes, it does work. Just on a much smaller scale so you can make much smaller adjustments. (Just like when in the bomb site).
Though I fly through the valley of death, I will fear no evil.....
For I am the meanest SOB in the valley!
trim does work with level stab as already posted. u just gotta keep the bubble in a level position. it usually doesnt take much in a b17, 5 or 6 clicks to the left.
Thank you all guys, for answering my question. I've chceked it, and - YES, the rudder trim works when stabiliser is on  I don't know how did I omitt it... So thanks once again
Still in future MODS it would be nice to see the level stabiliser working in modded plane like in stock ones, but it is not crucial now 8)
