This post is along the lines of importing sounds into Il2. In this case I want import rocket sounds into Il2 but found I must change the bit rate to 705. Now My only question is how in the world you do this??? :? If someone could reccomend programs(free ones hopefully) I woudl be happy.
i found a good free program to use for bit rates and converting to wav files is cdex
once you have downloaded cdex, click on options at the top of the page, next click on settings, a page should now open,
click on 'generic' the top line will now read 'temp directory' follow the line along to the right and click the little box,
a 'browse menu' will open up, now follow the path to the file you want and click ok. Your selected file will now appear
in cdex, click on the file and the line will turn grey, now go back to options and then settings, now a page will open up
allowing you to change the bit rate. hope this helps zigs
Thanks it works but I can't get it to save to Il2 bitrate which is 705, I'sll still look though, thanks.
