So I was playing with the reticles that came with Mangas' new Russian pits, and I ran into a bit of a quirk:

(P-40 and Yak-7 side-by-side)

As you can see, the gunsight on the left (P-40) looks bright and cheery, while the right (Yak-7) looks dim and depressed. From what I can tell it seems like the game only puts up one .tga file on the gunsight, instead of putting both up. Or, you know, however that works.

Is this just a quirk with Russian planes, or am I missing something?

Just how the Russian reticles are, I think. You could probably edit it in 30 seconds with DXTBmp and a look at the .tga files.
