Gotta tell ya! It looks suberb! As i wrote to you Mr Agracier, i needed a new set of underwears right when i first saw this picture. For me this is the most needed missing part of globe what comes to ww2 aviation with IL2. There were lots of action specially German/USSR war.
You can split it to 2 if necessary . Like east /West. Most of the action was at east. Kirkeness/Murmansk area and Ishavet, The Convoy area. So we need open water at upper part of map, Don't ya think?
And that Lofoten area "small" map that you send to mee deserves an anouncement too. I will make it!
And If somedy can solve this out, you can DL Astrogem data here. It should be working, i've been told!!

Good question...
I make presently a map of the Aleutian 1:1 of 1500x370km, and except a little bug of air spawming, that work.
And if i look on google earth, the size of your map is

Remember to be a good little map maker and not add any objects..............please leave that for the mission makers. Nice map idea!
