Would the Hawker Hunter be a good idea for a new plane or is it to late a model for IL2 and would it be some thing for SOW?
I don't know if this question has been asked before!!!
Hm...I would shurely like to fly the Hawker Hunter but...I don't think IL2 is the wright sim for that.
I think we better stick to WW2 and Korea era planes. But it's just my opinion maybe if others would want it...who knows.
The Hunter was out around 1953/54. It might not have been a Korean war fighter, but it was definitely developed using that design technology. Guns only with similar performance. It was also a major player in the Middle east and India/akistan
Most RAF pilots that switched from late model Sabres to early model Hunters felt it was quite a step backwards until the Hunter was developed further.
I think the Egyptians or Jordanians used Hunters against Israel in the Yom Kippur War.
