B-25D Pics - Duxford to Washington
#1

A vintage privately owned B-25 Mitchell arrived in Edmonton, Alberta on the evening of Aug 31st. I was there and shot a few pics.

Story here:

Landing just as the sun was slipping below the horizon at the end of a VERY long flight, the crew looked really tired.

A wider view.

It taxied in slowly, guided by museum personnel.

Hello,

Nice pictures! Years ago, I saw another B-25, "Mrs. Mitchell" in Winnipeg, at the last airshow they had there. I believe, the aircraft is based in Minnesota. How many B-25s in flying condition are still around?

Thanks for sharing,

RB

Great pictures! Good thing I live in Washington. This B-25 is part of John Sessions Historic Flight at Kilo 6 collection.

Not sure how many fly today, I know that Canadian Warplane Heritage has a flyable one. Saw it fly with another B-25, silver with yellow markings, in formation with an Avenger and a T-28 at an airshow in 1978.
