Or did the F9F-2 variant not be able to? Something like this would be very very cool to have. I remember a couple of people talking about in-flight refueling a while back. lol Now we actually have a plane that can.

And yes I'm aware that we need a host-fuel aircraft before we can go on. But maybe this would persuade someone? :lol:

The F84 can do it too using its wing tip tanks.. it was the first actual combat refuel in Korea. I saw a post from FLakiten showing it work..and the fuel guage going up.. so yes, I think it IS possible and Flak was looking at it..how far along he got I don't know but he certainly has a heck of a track record.

AJ-2 was the ground attack version, while the AJ-1 was one of the Tanker versions for Navy.

Good idea. Didn't they use B-29s as tankers in the first air refueling trials ? If that's the case, you have your tanker model...

WOW awesome job Flak! I hope in future works of this mod we won't have that "snap to position" thing behind the tanker that I saw :lol:

Its one thing that always killed me in other games is that in air refueling, the game always did it for you

But this is a great breakthrough, man!!
