Is there any mod or utility for a resolution of 1920/1080? Because I bought a new very nice 23 inch monitor, but at the highest resolution 1600/1000 the images look kind of stretched :?:

You need to go into your conf.ini, which is located in your game's root directory, and edit the resolution manually. You can open conf.ini with wordpad.
The line you need to edit should be self evident, and among the first lines in the file IIRC.
