I have U.I. 1.1.1 and realized for the first time today that there is no splashscreen, just the V 4.09B1M 10, 20, 30%, ctc... on a white screen.

Can anyone help me get the splashscreen to work?

Rename as "background.tga"
Place in your ...\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\SplashScreen\GUI folder (of course, first Backup your original "background.tga" ) Let me know it this one works. It should.

Excellent. Good news.

Here are about 20 other formated Splashscreens . Just download the one you want and change name to "background.tga" and place in the folder I previously identified.
