The latest version of the campaign is designed to work with Sanka's mod. The error you have is probably due to another mod installation issue, maybe a plane mod.

I managed to solve my problem by deleting the file "...\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\files\.preload". I don't know why or if there is any side effect, but it works...

Kerlir, there are now two versions of the campaign, the English language version can be found at M4T and the French language version at the Check Six site. Thanks to vincent for making the French language version available.

Korrigan, glad you have solved the problem, I don't know why you were getting the error message I'm sorry to say. The campaign should work with or without Sanka's mod but because Sanka released his mod I needed to update the campaign because I had left some aircraft with the markings option enabled, prior to the Sanka mod it wasn't a problem. The campaign has now been altered to stop any markings appearing where they are not wanted, the version at M4T has been so changed and Vincent may now have altered the French language version at Check Six.

I had also the "mesh 3do/humans/Paratroopers/Russia/mono.sim not created" on both thai and french campaigns. The solution for me was to use Direct X instead OpenGL in the video settings
