how do u download the mod pack for forgotten batles in V 4.09. every time i try to download this mod pack it changes the game on my disk but when i try to go to play the game it comes on, loads to 5 and goes off. i'm confused. is it because i havn't installed it properly. :? :-? :???:

1. Do you mean Unified Installer? You have to install it to unmodded 4.08
2. Wrong section, use download section only for threads with downloadlink.

Lets just clear one thing up for a start.
Are you using the Il2 Sturmovik : Forgotten Battles cd or are you using the Il2 Sturmovik : 1946 DVD
Version 4.08, 4.09 and all the mods at this siteare compatible only with the 1946 version of the game. If you dont have it I would recommend getting it, they can be had quite cheaply at this stage. I got mine for around
mine is the dvd-rom IL-2 STURMOVIK 1946
well like cnopicillin said the mod pack, or unified installer as it is more commonly known must be installed onto version 4.08 unmodded.
Basically install the DVD, then the 4.08 patch, then the UI.
Do not install 4.09 yourself as this is included in the mod pack
