hey,
has any one run into trouble with the Ace's Campaign add-on campaign of battle of britain????
was playing as the german's and was enjoying my self something proper,(with all the new moded feature's) until i came across an error on mission 6.
(mission loading failed:mission section'I_JG2603' not found)
was wondering if any one had had this problem before or is familiar in how to fix it....

With "Ace's Campaign add-on campaign of battle of britain" did you mean the pay-add-on "Aces Campaigns/Combat Planes - Forgotten Battles"?

yes i believe that's the one.
it's titled "forgotten battle's:Ace's campaign's" it's the pay add-on with a red cover with a spitfire in the centre
it is NOT Ace's expansion.

I think I own the same Add-On.
When I'm back at home from work, I will install this Add-On again and do a little testing.
Which campaign from this add-on did you played?
I've started the 'Battle of Britain 1941' campaign with the germans and played until mission 9 without problems.

damn, yeah that's the one... "battle of britain 1941"......but i only got as far as 6...mmmmm?????
Hm, strange...
Maybe you can try to fix it when you open the '.mis' file from mission 6 and search for the entry 'I_JG2603' and change it to 'I_JG26' -> I think 'JG26' must be the right unit.

um, this gona sound daff. but where about's you find that file in the 1946 folder???......
those other patche's helped by the way, also added some other campaign's ??? strange but worth a looking at....finaly got some afrika campaign's...
Here's the path to that file on my PC:
D:\Programme\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Campaign\DE\channel_1941
Maybe your's a little bit different.

I've looked in my .mis file from mission 6 and found that at the beginning:

Maybe you need just change the '3' to a '2'...
Open the .mis file with Notepad, make your changes and don't forget to save.

your playing the battle of britain 41'' campaign right??? from the brit's side??
what is with the c-47 as "your" plane with the first 2 mission's??? haha i mean? gotta ave some sort of fairness?? lol
hope you had this prob to or my battle of britain aint gona be mutch of a battle lol....

that's cool. . .that one add-on seemed a bit "broken" in respects to the battle of britain campaign..oh bother lol
will try as you recomend these two above.....
if you happen to find a fix for those campaign please just pop us a msg..it would be good if you could try the british side of the campaign just to see if you start with the c-47 as i did, so to see if the mod had any affect,
