Built a new rig with win 7 64bit
Decided to put in my old SB audige SE, (DK package, Alchemy, etc)
Its up and running, thunderous flak, good fidelity, sounds good.
BUT...................
It seems, I get the opposite, of the norm, my cockpit, is so loud, and Im not getting
good stereo imaging in pit, (i hear the wings, but not the left/right fly-by, etc) external yes,
not in- pit.
Been at it for 3 days, config file, most off/on, one at a time, 16/24 bit,Alchemy dll, surfing, surfing.
I even, put together, a dbl set of head phones, for quad, the SA imaging, is just not there. (had it all on XP)
OK, Il buy a new sound card, but that seems hit or miss, if I cant config the sound in game?
So questions.........

whats... Duplex, Preemphasis, Streams,ACG
Anybody got any ideas? quick fix? file re config, What Im looking for, is to hear my wing mans position.
left/right, loose/tight, after that all else follows, had it before.
