my problem is this:
the engine sounds from the first person perspective are gone everything else works fine
the last install was the mozzie MK BXVI
any other info needed i will post when asked

all help is appreciated

EDIT: just went thru all the planes in the game and found ALL stock planes have lost internal engine noise however the spit XIV (all varients) still have the modded sound
so i think this could be fixed with a all plane engine sound mod

Same thing happened to me after i installed the Spit XIV and XII, then the internal sounds for the F4U-1A/C/D Corsair models disappeared, and the external sounds were pretty low, and it sounded like the propeller was revving like hell, like it was in a dive. Same goes for the He-111..

Then i installed Jafa's sounds, and the sound-problems for the aforementioned planes disappeared, but they re-appeared in the P51 Mustang..

Never had this happen before.. (Im not sure if its a buttons thing, because i installed the Spit MkVa, Hurri MkIIa, Spit MkIb & Spit MkIIa which required a SAS buttons file IIRC)

thanks for the help installed jafa's sounds (that created some minor isues i.e. loss of every custom mission and career progress, lucky i backed this up) but now i have sound and much better sound than the stock i think i can live without the mustang hardly fly it.
thanks for the prompt reply so i did not suffer with silence for long
