I hope i'm in the right section here if not i appologize and pls move me to right one please. Anyhow i downloaded a japanese Dgen Campaign called Home Defenders but it seems i'm missing a map which can't be found. namely the Kyushu map i can find a texture upgrade for it but not the original base map. Anyone an idea where i can get that map??

I think it's the stock "japan1" map. If you take a look into upgrade's load.ini you'll read "kjushu japan1/load.ini. Put the upgraded Kjushu folders into /mapmods one.
If i understand corrrect you say i should drop the folder called Japan1 with the upgraded textures in the MapMods folder right? well i did already and it keeps saying it keeps missing mapfiles. So my guess is i need a complete map. But maybe i need another one? oh one more question where is that basic Japan Map you were reffering about located in the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 folder?
btw. Is there someone who got the Japanese DGen (Home Defenders) working or are the more people with Map isuess? It loads normal untill the moment after you accepted the mission the loading starts. So i do see the briefing screen and all.
Obviously japan1 into map folder (so you have the map modded), and new texture's folder into _Tex one. The stock japan1 is inside .SFS files. Check if you've every texture listed in load.ini.
i had no original japan1 Folder ony the Modded one and that contains only a load.ini in the texture Folders i dropped also the the new textures. and the last one what are SFS files and where can i find those? i dunno if it is listed in the load.inii but i have no idea what the right entry should be there.
