Wander if someone can help.
when we egt a plane in like the Hallifax, it doesn't have a skins folder to place into paintschemes/skins folder.
I have tried to just place a skin folder I made and into that I put a converted TGA file out of the plane folder. Which I made into a BMP 1mb of the plane. On checking to see my new skin nothing showed up.
What am I missing on doing please ?
any help would be appreciated.

Check your air.ini file, the first name on each line is the name you need for the skins folder .

IL2 1946\MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects this is the path for the air.ini file

The name of the folder you require in this case is HalifaxBMkIII
