When I install the new plane data over the standard IL2 compare, IL2compare stops working. The message at the bottom of the screen states: Scaning... and a little further to the right it shows one of the B25.

If I restore the old standard data back, IL2 compare is functional again.
The file I downloaded, was tested with no errors of any kind. For good measure I have downloaded a few times with the same results.
Does anyone have any advise?

I found the problem. Aparently, some corrected data was released a year ago which I promptly had installed. That update did not change the version of IL2 compare. The UI1.2 update data is not compatible with that updated version. Once I reversed to the original IL2 compare v4.07m, the UI 1.2 update went smoothly.
