P-75A-GM Eagle Support

I'm not a huge fan of the Luftwaffe jets that would have never flow in the war went till 1950, but I do consider a couple of scenarios plausable, three are in Europe and two are in the Pacific. One of the Pacific ones has to deal with Okinawa and Iwo Jima. Just say that the Japanese had been able to hold off the islands for a bit longer and make the capture more difficult for the Americans. Maybe they got to keep some of the fighters that were taken away just before the battle to protect the home islands. Anyways, the USAAF doesn't have a base close enough now for the P-51B/D/K or the P-47N to escort B-29's and B-32's all the way to Japan and back. Well, the ETF-51D would have probably gone into use as a long range carrier based fighter for escort opps and the P-75A probably would have too. It's 3,000 mile range would mean that it could take off in China like it's bomber escorts to attack the home islands. I'm looking into making the P-75A-GM as a project, but I'd need some help. First off, is there anyone who has the proper flight data to give it an accurate FM once I get it made. Second, any not readily available photos, on the internet, of the Eagle that anybody has would be helpful. Third, if someone very talented, like VH-Rock or the likes, could teach me or tell me what tutorials and info they used to make such high quality planes in a minimal amount of time.

Good luck with this, really you should learn to model simple stuff like chess pieces and stuff first so that you know how to use the modelling program and then have someone who has enough time on their hands to teach you. Once you've done that then start to make simple changes to existing aircraft and making them work then moving on to perhaps a similar aircraft with more changes and then finally a complete new plane. Very steep learning curve so good luck.

I'm laughing right now... Mostly because if I start with updating planes, I'll want to update the Mustangs and that will just piss Lt. Wolf off. You know what, maybe I could start by working on the P-38J and bring that up to par and then make the F-5E... Okay, I'll need info on that one too before I go anywhere.

It actually went into production and was only canceled because the P-51D and P-47N were capable of doing the VLR escort job because we had Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

A "what if" that actually was.

Used to be in the works, perhaps if you pray for it mentally then it will come soon.

Lt. Wolf was thinking about making a P-82B-NA, I believe, after he was done with the normal Mustangs. No, the P-75A did actually go into production. It was canceled after six planes were finished, because the P-51D and P-47N were available and capable already for what was needed at the time.

I read somewhere that the fact that the allies used the nuclear bombs successfully (and thus, there was no need to invade mainland Japan) was the determinative factor for the cancellation, also that it was never actually intended to be used, but rather to keep certain companies "busy".
