Rockets!!

I know this is probably mundane, but (here comes the noob type question...wait for it...wait for it..) How can I change payloads for planes? Like adding rockets to the Sabre and such.. And is there a mod out there to emulate a heat seeker? And to save all the grumpy "hey I am a mighty modder" who wants to throw some hateful words of discouragement in here, I am just asking questions of my interest, not trying to defame the game or change its concept, and , yes, I used the search feature, and yes I know it's a WW2 based game, but WW2 ended much earlier than 46. And I DO know it is hard work making mods and no, I don't know the first thing about modding, that is why I am asking my questions in the first place. Anyhow, thanks in advance for future reply s on this topic

At the present time there is no rocket loadout for sabre, changing payloads by modding, well you'll have to find someone who's willing to teach you and unless you have a friend who mods that is quite unlikely to happen. Heat seeker emulation, probably closest possibility would be X4 style not automatic and also the sidewinder versions that they did have around that time were completely crap. Also WWII ended around mid to late 1945 so it did not end much earlier than 46...

If I'm not mistaken, PeterD is working on the loadouts for later F-86s to include rockets.

 To a guy my age Raptor, 6 months is "much earlier" considering what I have put myself through and the condition of my falling apart body   As for the payload question, the sabre use to carry missiles and such....I can more than likely figure it out, but it's better to ask the hunter how to hunt, than to just grab a shotgun and go trashing around in the woods alone.

Should have at least 2 rockets including droptank load yes, but wait till the final version comes and if not on the A the later versions of the F-86 assuming PeterD is going to do the E or F as well so it is a match for the mig then they should have 2 or 8 rockets.

While it is true that F-86s did carry AtoA missiles, it wasn't until MUCH later in their production and well after Korea.
